Classic Diving Books

If Charlaine Harris Southern Vampire books for me?
I'm ready for a new copyright and (possibly) a new series. I feel compelled to complete a series if I like it or not – Twilight was torture for me – so I'd like some opinions before entering the Sookie Stackhouse books. I am a big fan of Stephen King. I like a bit of Anne Rice. I can stomach Dean Koontz (I loved The Watcher, but I had a mediocre response to everything else). I really enjoyed by Gregory Maguire. I like a good deal of classical literature. Basically, you can enjoy anything that is well written, but I love books with characters so developed. So, do you think I enjoy the Southern Vampire series? Do you have any other suggestions?
Well if you do not care much for Twilight probably will not matter much of the Sookie Stackhouse series. I personally loved it and am waiting for the next. But Sookie is difficult to get around a couple of things with it. His character is well developed. In some cases he learns that she is much more than just ***************. (There will to spoil it for you if you decide you want to read it.) She really is a strong woman, sexy, a little strange, and a child can choose some hot men (vampires) pal around with. The graphics are fantastic, but it may seem a bit forced, as the story is not being trained in the correct order, but it all comes together in the end. This is a lite read. Nothing too heavy to think, but still a great summer read ….. We hope you enjoy yourself.
