Gerbil Breeders: Gerbil Color Chart?
litter of six (males) litter of two (female)
dove male spotted black, brownish spotted female
in the litter of six there are two black, two dark gray, and one agouti brown with a white belly and the dove spotted…..the females are both spotted and the sister is orange with black tips…. i’ve tried many genetic squares but are wondering if there are any experienced breeders who can give me a more deffinate answer? Im almost positive there will be black in the new litter…
By dark gray do you mean lilac and by orange do you mean argente? If your male is black and he has produce black pups there is a good chance that some of the pups will be black.

I had a pied black female with a pied argente male and together they produced: 2 pied blacks, 1 mottled black, 1 Agouti, 1 pied agouti, 1 pied sapphire, 1 argente, and 1 honey cream.
