Is $144 a fair price for a intro SCUBA course in Phuket?
Hey all,
I am shopping around for introductory diving courses/diving packages in Phuket and I’m wondering whats a fair price for it? I found this outfitter who was well recommended by some blogs and also by Lonely planet:

4900TB = $144 for 2 dives + Lunch and a tour of Phi Phi. Is that a good deal or should I look for better deals when I’m in Phuket?

I would say it’s a pretty good deal considering what is included.

You can check out others, since things change with time. Always compare, but, don’t get too cheap. Since, sometimes you try to save money and that could endanger your well being.
I know there are NAUI shops in Thailand also. You can check their website at www.naui.com, I think.
I am PADI certified but, I have not had a chance to dive in Thailand yet.
