Tanzania safari without the herds of tourists?

Hello. I'm visiting Tanzania for a month in December, and I want to spend some time – perhaps days 5-10 – see the wildlife. I really like the idea of a walking safari, so it may be a little more to the nature of which could lead to a safari. I enjoy experience, rather than on the drive, get a photo of the license. I do not have much time, unfortunately (and I'm having a bit of time diving around Zanzibar and climbing of Kilimanjaro), so it would be difficult to spend much time traveling to escape the tourists. Are there any related traveler out there who can give me some advice? It would be much appreciated. If I could recommend a good (mid-range budget) of the operator that would be even better.
