Diving Gulf Coast Florida

Scuba Gear/Should I sell it now? Oil Spill?
I’m wondering if I should sell my Scuba gear Now, as the spill in the gulf of Mexico seems to be an unsolvable issue. The government is more worried about who will pay for it, rather than what it will do to my diving spots off the coast of Western Florida. Would you sell your gear? Or is there a chance that the Gulf will not be destroyed?
I asked the Magic 8 Ball at http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~ssanty/cgi-bin/eightball.cgi your questions.
Q: Would you sell your gear?
A: Outlook not so good
Q: Or is there a chance that the Gulf will not be destroyed?
A: Absolutely!
So there you have it. My interpretation is that the Magic 8 Ball thinks you should sell your gear even though there is a definite chance that the Gulf will not be destroyed. I guess it feels that the chances are measurable, but slim.
Or I suppose another interpretation is that the outlook would not be good for selling your gear. So it might be telling you that you should definitely hang onto it for now.
