Guanaja, Honduras, a Bay Paradise Island, located in Central America may be the next hot spot for affordable retirement. Many of the Baby Boomers are now at retirement age and others are just looking for early retirement, but how? The economy is weak and the U.S. dollar has reached all time lows. They have worked hard to save for their golden years and now, before this financial crisis, the gold is now tarnished and we are left over the years.
What are the next generation of really old looking for retirement? How about the warm tropical breezes and pristine blue waters of the Caribbean? Would you like to trade in the rocking chair on the porch of a hammock swinging gently under some trees palm or the theft of a click of knitting needles for the ZING of fishing line? We still have our health and many of us want a little adventure with our advanced age!

Do you dream of a cottage by the sea where you can leave your door and take a walk on the beach or perhaps a cabin on a hill where you can grow orchids and pineapples? Guanaja has both! The highest point of the island is thousand feet and also has many waterfalls terrible sweet drinking water. It also has the second largest barrier reef in the world, protecting the small island of wave action large and with this comes the reef fish and colorful corals to keep any diver or diver happy for years!
