What should I do (found out girlfriend is cheating with work mate)?

I’ve just found out that my girlfriend(away on a business trip right now) is cheating on me (via frisky photos she must have forgotten to erase from a memory card), when I went to go take some photos.

Option 1:
This is the best choice in principle, but there is a serious problem (read Option 2 below).

Take all your stuff from her flat, and move out. Look for your own apartment (ouch!) and learn from this so it doesn’t happen again.

If she asks about it, just say you’re no longer attracted to her. Insist on it (don’t make the mistake of saying about the photos! you owe her ZERO drama!). She’ll b!tch and moan about it, call you gay and commitmentphobic and whatnot, but YOU STAND YOUR GROUND. If she happens to insist even more (not likely, since she’s so busy), just tell her to stop bothering you and never contact you again.

Option 2:
Because you were in her house, she might claim you stole something and complaint to the police. This is very hard to counter, since she’s a woman and you are a man, therefore you’re guilty by default.

Try to see if there is any way you can protect yourself from her possible slander (due to her being angry at you leaving). One possible defense might be for you to openly (i.e. with witnesses) say you’re leaving her because you found compelling evidence of her behavior. (This is bad for you, since you’re exposing yourself as a spy.) Even if you make copies from the memory card for your defense if this happens, it won’t help you unless you find conclusive evidence in there about her being naked with someone else, or raunchy letters from her (the origin) to someone else (the receiver).
