Diving Log Book Pages

diving log book pages
What if I’m missing signatures for cert. in my dive log?

I went for my Open Water certification recently and started a log book. There are a few pages to fill out for the confined water dives and some for the open water dives (that the instructor was to sign for), and there is also a page where the instructor needed to initial all of the skills I did in confined and open water…I’m missing a few initials for Day 2 skills, and the final signature for completion.

Sooo…is it a problem that I’m missing some initials and signatures in my log book? I should be receiving my c-card soon. I figure anyone could lose a log book at any time, so in the worst case, the c-card should be enough for future dives?

I wouldn’t worry about it. You’ll only ever be asked to show your c-card. I’ve never been asked for my qualification record books. I’m only ever asked for my card(s) and occasionally a quick flick through my log-book just to check I’m ‘dived-up’.

If you run into your instructor again it won’t do any harm to get him to quickly fill in the blanks, but other than that as I said I wouldn’t worry about it too much
