Diving Log Books

How do i get a new scuba diving card?
i passed my open water diver test in 2006. i had my bag stolen and in it were my pass card (like a visa card) with my registration number on it and my log book. i want to go diving again in may. how do i get replacements. i do not know my registration number
Depends on the agency you used to certify with ( PADI, NAUI, BSAC etc). You can simply walk into a dive shop that supports the particular agency you trained with ( even better if it’s the same shop that initially trained you) and tell them you need a replacement. All you’ll need is the same information you provided when you signed up.You won’t need your student number, just name address, phone etc. All the major agencies have your info on file and can easily dig it up. Because of the length of time that’s passed, you’ll have to pay a small fee to replace the card.
Alternately, some agencies, like PADI, have an online process. You may even be able to access your info on line if you’d registered previously and order a card that way or have them go through their data base to find you and issue a card. Again, a small replacement fee.
