Experienced divers, please tell me, what makes one a "good" dive buddy?

I am a novice diver who has registered exactly 3 "real" dives since certification, and have not had any problems because my classmates were an AI of the store where I did my training, and another rookie like me. But I will not become a diver (new or experienced) that nobody wants to dive because I am a bad fellow. So please tell me, what makes one a good dive buddy? Thanks! Ok, kid, you think you can not be a good friend just because I lack experience? I do not think I want to dive with you! You are one of the divers with the "ego" problems!

Buddy Controls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not emphasize enough. There's nothing more irritating than communicating with a friend to stay with the others, then you see him, scurry around his neck to locate and get a dose of 40 degree water down the back of his dry suit to crack the seal of the neck. Grrrrrrrrr. Stay where you has agreed to stay, watch yourself and your friend. Never be afraid to sign an abortion, something more than foolish. It's a learning process. I prefer a dive trench anxious to have a partner due to a flood mask or something minor. It takes your attention away from me and themselves. If this is a first dip with a new friend, do not be afraid to let them know how experienced (or not) you are. I prefer to know the area you will find in the course of 90 feet Diving can be adjusted before of immersion, after … well it's a little late. Meet all kinds of gear and techniques. Knowledge is power and the more you have, the more people will want dive with you because they want to teach and help them become better divers. Share your tips. Last but not least. I need my friends to have a sense of humor, able lean on a history of high and enjoy a beer or 10 after a diving day. BTW … welcome to the sport. It is my office, but I still love. Learn to learn to learn:)
