I want to dive in Lake Michigan in Chicago, but can not find a place that also rents the team charter.

Are there places left in Chicago and out on Lake Michigan and I will rent a BC, regulator and tank? I am certified, but recently broke down before Christ and despite what I have been informed by diving equipment that I have found here, why does anyone own their own tank?

Have you checked the site PADI? They have listings of all PADI certified shops in the area, and could probably be noted that in the right direction. BTW, although a number of people own their own tanks, at least as many do not. There were tanks, but they had old style valves, so I gave it away.
