Olympic medals in Colombia

And did you see any of last month's Beijing, China Olympic events? I did and so did the vast majority of my students of English as a foreign language. Special attention was paid, like most Colombians, the silver medal in lifting weight gained by Diego Fernando Salazar and the bronze medal in the women's struggle won by Jackeline Renteria. The only gold medal ever won Colombia in Sydney 2000 in weightlifting for women by Maria Isabel Urrutia, who is now a congressman and supporter of sports. Without a doubt, his students spoke enthusiastically of the medals and events in which his country did well, or not as appropriate.

What Olympic events did you see? Although I did not see a lot of games and events, gained the opportunity to briefly check out the men and women's beach volleyball and both win gold for the U.S.. The swimmer Michael Phelps grabbed three of his eight medals gold. The javelin throw, high jump and women's pole vault also received visits from coverage brief me. Sorely missed Olympic events

Some urgent-lost Olympic Events included men's basketball – I could not see a single game! Fencing, wrestling, most of the main track and field events – I have not seen the men and relay teams fiasco that women faced sports news page here. Archery, diving and Olympic marathon classic also I escaped, unfortunately.

Why do you think that the coverage of the Olympics does not appear most of the flashbacks and interviews with registrants anterior and large still living, but retired or no competition? What happened to Mark Spitz and Carl Lewis, among many others? They did that and I missed it because No coverage of that here?

EFL students Get Involved

Ask your EFL or foreign language learning research the facts, records and statistics. Let the report biographies and details of sporting events or demonstrations. Detail describe events and sporting events with which many of its employees may be unknown. Ask them to explain why China won the gold medal for many, little Jamaica won 11 medals, but Venezuela, Ecuador and Panama, only one medal each, while other countries may not have won any. Ask them to talk about the performance of your country and how it could improve or change. You can and should use any sporting or cultural event to promote English language learning among their students, giving them outlets spontaneous speech spontaneous speaking.
