Diving Pacific

Walls, canyons, wrecks and coral gardens are found in many of the 7000, most tropical islands that make up Argentina. There are hundreds of centers diving, some very remote, spread throughout the country. Sites in the Philippines are famous for the diversity and variety of marine life from small and medium variety. They are among the best in the world, for both experienced and novice divers.
The best time for diving in the Philippines during the months of November to May. The season of rain for most of the country is from July to September, and should be avoided since this time corresponds to the typhoon season. Beginning in November and ends in May is which is considered the dry season. At this time, the sea became flat calm and bright blue, with incredible visibility especially during April and May.
Here are some of the most sought after dive sites in the Philippines, places that I consider to be 6 points higher for diving in the Philippines.
1. Apo Island
This is a small volcanic island off the southeastern tip of Negros Island. This site is considered the best place in all of the Philippines – the Mother of all dive sites in the Philippines. It is also home to one of the most successful and best – run marine sanctuaries in the Philippines. It is a favorite among divers for its excellent visibility. It is home to big fish, mantas, white tip, hammerhead and whale sharks. However, the currents are strong so it's not for a beginner with no experience.
Apo Island is available for a one hour flight from Manila to Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental's capital, or a 40-minute flight from Cebu City in the Visayas. Apo Island is about 25 km south of Dumaguete. The starting point to Apo Island, which is only 7 km from the coast, Malatapay Beach. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Apo Malatapay Beach via a charter boat.
2. Anilao
This site is a small peninsula 13 km in the province of Batangas, easily accessible by car or bus from Manila. This is a very popular dive weekend due to its proximity to Manila, but offers a great variety of corals and marine life. The dive site more Anilao famous, and perhaps in the country is Cathedral Rock, a marine sanctuary off the coast of Dive Resort 7000.
However, for those seeking a night out to go with your diving, there's plenty to keep you entertained. In recent years, has been overtaken in popularity in places like Puerto Galera and Alona Beach in Bohol island. Without But for a dive with easy access to Manila, Anilao is the place to go.
3. Puerto Galera
Located in Oriental Mindoro province, this location not only has some of the most diverse coral reef diving and marine life is also known for its sun, sand and nightlife. The diving is king, with the drink comes in second place. There are many options for diving, with plenty of intermediate and early dive sites, frequently used for certification purposes, and like a lot of advanced dive site.
Getting there is by way of a car (bus) from Manila to Batangas, which then catch a ferry to Puerto Galera. The total trip takes about 4 to 5 hours.
4. Camiguin
Camiguin is a small volcanic island in the central northern coast of Mindanao. Place in water next to the big island of Hawaii or Maui with and would not be out of place. This is due to its impressive silhouette volcanic. It has more volcanoes per square foot than any other island on earth. There are also plenty of white sandy beaches and hot springs on the island.
Camiguin is accessible by air from Manila and Cebu City, flying in Cagayan de Oro in Misamis Oriental province (which is on the northern coast of Mindanao). There is now a fast ferry boat service from Cagayan De Oro to Camiguin. There is also a daily boat to Bohol and Camiguin to Super Shuttle Ferry Camiguin to Cebu every Sunday.
5. Coron Bay
This is one of the most famous dive sites in the Philippines. It is located in Palawan. What makes it so famous are the many famous shipwrecks. Wreck diving is the name of the game on this site. Coron Bay is a world class destination for wreck diving. The visibility is impressive and the sunken Japanese fleet of ships of the Second World War are known throughout the world. There are at least 10 of them at the disposal of the remains of diving.
Coron is accessible by air from Manila to Busuanga through, and around the Mediterranean and Black Superferry navigation. Phlippines Air, Cebu Pacific, PAL Express and all service carriers Seair Coron.
6. Panglao Island
Located near Cebu City in the Visayas, Bohol is the island of Panglao, in which the action is concentrated around Alona Beach. The whole area is full of great dive sites, but the highlight is Balicasag Island, which is 45 minutes by boat from Alona Beach. It has a marine sanctuary, where dramatic cliffs drop underwater as deep as 50 meters. Both corals soft and hard can be found around the cliffs. Many veterans consider it the best scuba diving site in the country after reef systems away from National park Apo reef (see item 1 above).
Both Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific has two flights daily between Manila and one hours Tagbilaran, the main town in Bohol. Panglao Island is on the south side of Bohol, through a small bridge from the mainland of Bohol. The entire complex has increased transport Panglao available from the Tagbilaran airport to your property. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or van hire at the airport.
