What do you call the big pools where you can go swimming and not have to be invovled in any program?

I want to swim but my swimming pool amounts only 5 feet and I like diving. What do you call those places that have a large pool with diving board and everything, but you do not have to be invovled in its programs or classes Swimming? Also do you think there is a quota?

u can join your local YMCA or, sometimes, people have a water / rec. center where u can go swimming. it all depends on where u live. and, in general, there will be any tarifa.-Hope this helps:)
