Cyprus summarizes the Mediterranean climate with a magnificent sun and perfect temperatures all year round. Extreme temperatures are rare, Cyprus an island for all stations.
As Cyprus has no experience drastic seasonal fluctuations, each of the four seasons is very different and has its own influence in the character of the island and the activities offered.
Sizzling Summer
Clear skies, high temperatures and the refreshing sea breeze mark the months summer extends from mid May to mid October. It is the ideal season for sunbathing, swimming and delivered in all kinds of water sports from scuba diving to sailing. You need plenty of sun protection and sunscreen is essential. Temperatures in the front of the beach you can go up to 32 C but is considerably cooler in the Troodos and hiking in the mountains is still a possibility.
Cool autumn
It is only late October that the evening begins to cool in Cyprus but the afternoons are still summer until mid-November. From October to November the leaves begin to change color and take in the vineyards of crimson and gold hues. The highlight of the season is the annual festival during which Kypri internationally renowned acts and local drama and music are celebrated throughout Cyprus. Another highlight is the wine tasting sessions are held in all vineyards. Despite the cooler temperatures, the waters are still warm and yet delightfully you can enjoy swimming.
Not so winter winter
While December and January are the winter months, you need to remember it's winter in Cyprus. The sun still shines for about six hours during the day and night rains are a distant possibility. Unlike its smaller neighbors, Cyprus does not is closed in winter and this is the best time to visit the many museums and heritage sites are less prominent when congested. The rain that has been threatening to fall finally makes good his threat in early February, when there are occasional showers. Lovely spring

Spring is definitely in the air since early April until mid-May. Opportunities abound for hiking and marvel at the pink cyclamen, wavy leaf monkey orchids and 1,950 other species of flowering plants, 140 of which grow only in this wonderful garden island, and nowhere else.
