ARGH, I hate bus drivers?
This stupid bus driver always makes me pay double. She says you can’t use the transfer going on the same line, but I grew up in a system where you could use the transfer unlimited times wherever you want.. unless she earns commission, she has no reason to dive into the garbage can and fish out my transfer unless she’s a (says something rude about older woman and fertility) all the time!
Basically: Durham Transit are crooks. They overcharge, the buses are late, their transfers suck, and the drivers are rude. Stupid inbred nerf-herding white-trash nazi-supporting cow-boinking hicks.
Why the heck do I live in such a place? Why can’t I live somewhere nice?
(And yes, I am posting this here. I was about a hair-length away from flipping out and cursing her and her dead-end career, but I didn’t and now I’m feeling peeved. I hope she gets eaten by a large bear.)
I have actually heard that Durham is absolutely awful, and that in general, they are not the sharpest tools in the shed there.
However, it sounds like the rules have changed, and basically you do have to stick with them. Try not to get angry with bus-drivers, as this makes them more likely to be rude rather than less.
Commiserations on your experience, and good luck getting out of Durham, which does sound like a real hole.
