Diving Video Accident

How to ask my parents for me to do something?

It’s making pixel (sprite) animations. I really want to do this! It seems awesome!
But, the video that I was inspired by was kind of dirty (ex. Talking about ERECTIONS, it was a love anime)
So, how do I get them to agree? OR, DO I go behind their back? (But, the pixel animation I’m making MIGHT have a love-y dove-y thing. I CAN change it, it’s just that it was I wanted to do first. I can do a “The Diaries of ____” ex.)

Do I just go behind their back, and when it comes up, tell them about it? Or, do I ask them? If so, how do I bring it up? What if they want to know why? Where I got it from?

P.S. I’m 13 yrs old. (YEAH, I DIDN’T MEAN TO WATCH THAT VIDEO! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! It was like the 8th video in the series!!!)

Honesty is the best policy. Tell them that you saw the video by accident but that you want their trust in letting you make a pixel animation of your own. Do not sugar coat what it is about…be honest and see what they say. I doubt that they are going to allow you to do this unless you do it and then destroy it without ever letting anyone else see it…I still say they won’t let you do it…you’re just too young. This one is up to dear “old Mom & Dad”. Be extra nice when you ask…if you sneak and get caught the consequences are going to be 100 times worse. Honesty is always the best policy.
Peace, Love & Happiness
