Has anyone been on a diving holiday in Egypt?

I like going on holiday to Egypt and take a course in beginners PADI diving there. Is there someone who has done and if so, do not book a complete vacation package or to arrange lessons when you arrived in Egypt? Is it cheaper? What is the best place to go diving and we can recommend a dive school? Best moment in which you want to go? Thank you very much in advance!

Sharm El Sheik is a great place to learn to dive. There are many PADI dive centers. Have you considered doing the first part of the course in the UK (lots of theory and reading as well as sessions pool) instead of using a lot of time away from doing that. Then you could make a 'reference' in Sharm to complete their qualification. The Most diving schools in the UK are very pleased to do this, as well as centers in Sharm. My wife and I have used 'Emperor Diving in Sharm – very good. The best thing to do is book in advance for the best prices. Check out their website.
