What is scuba diving in Egypt?

I'm going to Egypt in January and I'm thinking of going diving. I will be in Sharm El Sheikh. Is it fairly easy to do alone day trips and how much are they? Does anyone have recommendations on companies.

There are many dive centers in Sharm good. When I used scuba divers Africa run by a German married to an Austrian. Sinai Divers is also good. Overall I preferred dive with the Germans, or French, and never I was interested in Italian restaurants. There are plenty of shore diving, which you can do with your partner and all you need is to hire a tank and just walk into the water. There distant sites can only be done by boat, as Gordon, reefs and Thomas Jackson. Ras Mohammed can be done from shore, but the best by boat. Enjoy yourself before that the sites are destroyed by more than diving.
