SCUBA DIVING >>can you recommend a good place in the med to take my advanced open water?

You have quite a few choices if your set on the Med, my personal recommendations are as follows:

Malta: Probably the best dive destination in the Med if you after Wreck & Reef. Very well catered for the Brit diver with some top class operators. My top choice for Malta would have to be Maltaqua in St Pauls Bay, used them many times and have found them superb. www.maltaqua.com

Cyprus: Ok for Reef and the best reason for diving Cyprus is The Zenobia. All the major Operators dive this site so it gets very busy at times. Not that much else to offer in Cyprus.
My Personal choice is Sunfish Divers in Aia Nappa, small but good pro outfit.

Minorca; Good reef & Cave, not much in the line of Wreck though except the Francis Keeta (very deep though). Great for Brits, easy flight with plenty of choices of accomodation.
Best outfit Happy Sub. German owned & very well run. Very friendly and can offer acommadation.
