Something of a closely guarded secret, diving in the UK is excellent – with a cost of thousands of historic shipwrecks to explore, encounters with playful seals, drift but glorious beautiful underwater scenery full of soft corals and abundant marine life.

One of the UK for diving are the Orkney Islands – Scapa port Flow is visited by divers from around the world to explore the World War 1 sunken warships of the German fleet – puposefully sunk under the command of the German Admiralty in 1919 to prevent the delivery of ships to conquer the British forces. Since it is also possible to dive Orknies St Kilda, well known for its birdlife, marine life and underwater is no less spectacular.

There at least 10 places in the UK, where you can dive with sea lions, but the most popular has to be outside the Islands Farne Northumbria. Here you can almost guarantee an encounter with a playful seal or two and experience the thrill of diving through the canyons, along cliffs submarines and in the fields of atmospheric life support kelp forest.

Soft corals and sponges that adorn the cliffs of the Farnes can be seen throughout the UK. There are beautiful dives in particular around the southwest coast of the United Kingdom, the Gulf Stream keeps supplied with plenty of nutrients. The wives of Cornwall reefs, slopes and jewel-covered peaks anemonia and goldfish, and I have not even mentioned the Scillia with wrecks, reefs and walls decorated with corals, sea fans and sea squirts. Similarly divers from around the world to visit the Skelligs in southern Ireland, with its always clear waters perfect for photography underwater.

Larger marine life is out there – some divers are lucky enough to witness the annual migration of the basking shark, or dolphin occasional or sunfish. For me personally met with a sea horse off the coast of the Isle of Wight was a moment I will never forget.
