Underwater Diving Equipment

When I tell people I do commercial diving, I have some funny reactions. Expressions usually reflect the confusion instead of the admiration that I used think it would be a normal response. At least talking about commercial diving is a conversation starter, I guess most people do not know anyone who is earns his living this way. Neither did I until I went on vacation to St. Martin in the Virgin Islands. I had just graduated from college and the trip was a gift to me. Having grown up near Lake Michigan ice cream was fascinated by the warm Caribbean waters and marine life in it. I scrape some funds are SCUBA certified and never looked back. One thing led to another and I can say I have a career doing something they love. Commercial Diving Diving is one of the most lucrative careers available. The salary of a commercial diver can easily run into six figures depending on the sub-specialty.
Many factors contribute to the financial benefits. Divers need to be more healthy than normal, and physical demands to limit the duration of a diving career. Moreover, not many people have seen diving in a career. Even in those related to the sea seldom think the same fields. One more thing is that a lot of commercial divers travel in their jobs, so that sometimes can be a nomadic lifestyle. Combining these two aspects and you can see there is always more of a demand that divers available to fill jobs.
Not to be overlooked is the real risk associated with diving to earn a living. Even trained professionals can not anticipate every possible problem. Factor in the inadequate equipment, poisonous and dangerous creatures of the sea, shifting or breaking underwater structures, and even an experienced professional can be in trouble in the short term.
I thought about all this before I made my decision and found that there are more dangerous jobs that do not pay nearly the same. And think in the many ways you can work as a commercial diver. I currently live on the West Coast and not studying marine life. I have friends who are search and rescue divers, and a lot of times you need to use those skills in my "comfortable" position. There are other races: underwater construction, underwater filming for feature films, documentaries, television commercials, photographs, and even TV shows. You could have your own business as a certification specialized diving, lead trips, the work of companies to explore shipwrecks, even dive for pearls and other valuables. Some commercial divers are employed by companies maintenance needs under water.
There is not an opportunity you will never regret diving as a career. Even if I come face to face with Jaws Junior day one, in my opinion, have been worthwhile. Those who are fortunate enough to do what they like to have a habit of never stop fun.
