How are glitches found in video games?

I mean some i can see that can be found on accident makes sense. But some other ones for example on Gears of War the sky dive where you have to get on that truck and wait 2:30 seconds and push b and down a this does not make any sense what are the chances? Or the back flip anywhere glitch which i don’t even want to get started on because its so complex but seriously how are these things found?

pretty much they have a room with 20 ppl testing the game by playing every part and it gets marked down and it gets fixed thats how the do it at ubisoft montreal my friend worked there
