Olympus 770sw in saltwater?

Just wondering, i have seen pictures taken from this camera of marine life in the sea…i know the camera is waterproof, but does this cover salt water? we all know salt water likes to creep into cracks and wreck things. I’m going scuba diving soon, and wondering whether it will hold up down there?or do i need an underwater case? cheers

waterproof covers all water, however they are all rated to certain depths – mostly 3meters to 10 meters – see what the specs are and dont exceed them
